Stork, long been the housewives favourite and the perfect baking ingredient, is celebrating it's 90th birthday. Hard to believe but this unique ingredient, best for cakes and pastry has been around longer than some of our grandparents. I went to a fantastic baking demonstration at the Good Housekeeping Institute and got to meet the most wonderful, highly exalted and doyenne of cooking, Margeurite Patten along with the gorgeous and well known TV chef, Phil Vickery, both advocates of baking with Stork. I even got to bake some delicious Muffins, which turned out perfectly of course! On the recipes page you'll find a recipe for their Sour Cherry and Yoghurt Muffins. Give it a go and don't forget to pick up a tub next time you're out shopping. Check out http://www.bakewithstork.co.uk/ for more inspiring recipes.
