Hulya Erdal - About

From marketing to catering, Hülya has immersed herself in the world of food for over 20 years. As a professionally trained chef, her roots and expertise in the eastern Mediterranean kitchen has won her awards and cooking competitions.

Now Hülya’s passion is teaching others the love of food and promoting her belief that ‘anyone can cook’ with highly motivated, fun and exciting classes around London and the UK. She is renowned for her great sense of humour and teaches many classes from Private to Corporate to Community groups. Some of Hülya’s clients have included Linklaters, Nestle, Allianz, Tesco, Axa and New York University.
Hülya is also passionate about her charity work and with clients such as Fareshare UK, One Life UK and St Lukes Trust, she has taught simple, wholesome cookery skills to many vulnerable groups such as low income families and the homeless.
Hülya is a regular judge for many food awards including the Freefrom sector and is always looking at ways to adapt menus in this evolving market of allergen-free cooking and healthy eating.
As well as a few TV appearances under her apron for BBC One and Channel 4, Hulya has written for a variety of magazines including Delicious and Good Things and her recipes are regularly published online.
